Back

Sorry for my month-long absence. Shortly after my last post I had an interview and a job offer on the same day. Pretty crazy stuff. Since learning of the position, I was taking some serious time off. I didn't turn on my computer for days at a time, I reread some books and I watched movies. It was a nice little 'stay-cation.'

But now it's back to reality, and hopefully, regular blog posts.

Since the first day of spring Chicago has seen temperatures in the 80s, snow and torrential downpours accompanied by hail. I am hoping for some kind of miracle and that we'll actually have steadily nicer temperatures for the rest of April and into May. We had a pretty mild winter here, so let's continue with a nice spring, okay Chicago?

Until then, I am enjoying some spring flowers that have already bloomed in light of the 80 degree weather we had last week. It makes everything look so nice next to the "snow trash" that's left over after the snow finally melts.
