It's addicting, and ironic

I have watched my fare share of trashy tv over the years. It's really easy for me to get hooked on new shows by watching one episode or even 1/2 of an episode. Neal introduced me to "Top Chef", which I had never had an interest in watching before I met him. But after seeing the first show, I had to watch the rest of the season.

At the beginning of the year Neal & I had been watching Vh1 to see the "100 Craziest Moments in Rock 'n Roll". It was named something similar to that. Anyway, during the commercials they advertised the new season of Celebrity Rehab. Lisa D'Amato from ANTM, Joey from the Real World Hollywood and Mindy McCready were all going to be on the show. After I saw the cast, I knew I had to see it.

This season started in early January and the finale episode airs tonight. It is such an addicting show (uber-ironic since it's about alcohol and substance addiction); Mindy has a seizure, Joey beats cars with bats and tire irons, Heidi Fleiss says some crazy stuff to ex Tom Sizemore, whose current girlfriend brings drugs into him. Oh so good!

Even better, after this week's finale, some of the people will be going on to live in "Sober House". After seeing an advertisement for this week's finale and the mention of Sober House, I said to Neal, "What is Sober House?" He replied, "I don't know, but I hope they have cameras." Lucky for us, they do. The premiere is next Thursday, March 11th. Can't wait!
