Cranberry Red

Last summer Neal & I vacationed with his family on Cape Cod. During our visit, we went to the Truro Vineyards for a wine tasting. We tasted about eight wines. And even though they gave us a list of those wines so we could make notes of our favorites, I threw my paper out thinking I'd never need to remember any of them. We had flown to Massachusetts, so we couldn't take any wine back with us.

Then over Christmas, Neal & I rediscovered Truro wine. And I found one that I love: Cranberry Red. According to Truro Vineyards it is, "Fresh and bold, red Beaujolais character blended with delicate Cape Cod cranberries." In other words, delicious.
It also comes in an awesome Lighthouse bottle, which I think makes it better.

Neal's parents recently sent us a few bottles and we can't wait to enjoy them. If you are a true red wine lover, you probably won't delight in it the way I do. It has a fruity flavor that is found mostly in whites. But if you're ever in Truro, I encourage you do go for a tasting. It's a great way to spend $7.
