*I really look forward to the MTV Movie Awards every year. They're silly and ridiculous and the winners are basically winning a popularity contest. But after all the seriousness of the dramas that get attention at the Oscars, Globes and Critics' awards, it's nice to end awards season on a light note. Plus, where else can you see someone receive the WTF moment award? Which was totally a WTF moment when Ken Jeong gave his speech.
This year, Aziz Ansari was the host. He's the absurd guy from Parks & Rec. He makes fantastic facial expressions and is all around hilarious. I loved his bit about being Zach Galifianakis' swagga coach.
Of course New Moon won every award because all the teenage girls voted for it. I'm not really complaining because Robert Pattinson is nice to look at. Plus, I'm a fan of the series. R Patz and Kristen Stewart won for best kiss, for the second year in a row. They are pretty good at making out in the Twilight moives. But nothing beats the 2005 Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling best kiss win.
Neal, Lizzy, Chris & I enjoyed watching it. BONUS: We got to see clips from both the upcoming Harry Potter and Twilight movies!
