Sad Face

For the past three years my bestie & I have been traveling to Fort Wayne, IN once a year in early May. Why? Because, really, what's in Fort Wayne, IN? The Vera Bradley trunk show, of course! Every year Vera 'retires' certain patterns. And then they have a giant sale to get rid of their stock. Pricing starts at 50% off, which is huge! But as the days go on, they continue to slash prices and it just becomes ridiculous. Ridiculous in the best possible way! I've gotten a garment bag, slippers, an umbrella, padded hangers and the list goes on and on.

Sadly, this year Jenn & I will not be making our pilgrimage to Fort Wayne. She is out of town and it's a long trip solo. Neal so generously offered to go with me, but scheduling prevented this.

So, a big sad face that I will miss this wonderful and crazy trek with J. And sad face to all those deals missed, too. Here's to next year.
