For the second year in a row, Robin Soderling, the somewhat obnoxious player from Sweden, has taken out the reigning French Open champion. Quite a feat and a first in the history books, I think. Last year he beat Nadal in week one. This year, in the quarters, he beat Roger Federer. Oh my word.

If Nadal wins the French Open , he'll take over the #1 ranking from Federer. Here's hoping that Serena and Rafa are the champs this year!
